An illegal alien from India has been arrested in San Antonio, Texas, after he emerged from the woods at Espada Park and randomly punched a mother in the face and began biting her three-year-old daughter’s face, trying to gouge her eyes with his thumbs, and knocking out two teeth from the child's mouth.

Illegal alien from India, 24-year-old Atharva Vyas, was physically restrained by a heroic bystander until San Antonio Police Department officers arrived. Police say illegal immigrant Vyas grabbed the mother by her hair and punched her in the face, causing her to fall and drop her 3-year-old daughter, whom he then attacked.

"On 04/18/2026, my daughter and I experienced a traumatic attack that has changed our lives.

The attacker targeted both of us, and my daughter suffered severe injuries to her face, including bites and the loss of two teeth. The emotional distress from this event has been overwhelming for both of us, and we are now focused on helping her heal physically and emotionally.

Since the attack, my daughter has needed constant care, comfort, and reassurance. She is unable to return to daycare or be left with anyone else, so I have had to take time away from work to be by her side.
